Since the mid 1970’s, Regis University’s School for Professional Studies (SPS) has been nationally recognized for leadership in designing and delivering adult-centered educational programs. Distance Learning Program:
Regis University’s online programs offer the same quality coursework and faculty as on-campus programs. No classroom attendance is required. Classes are offered in an 8-week, accelerated format and size is limited to 15 students.

Undergraduate Programs of Study:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Courses that make up Business Administration degree are specifically designed to help students gain an understanding of the changing world of business and economic systems in the global business community. ($390/credit hour)

Bachelor of Science in Marketing. This program emphasizes a strategic managerial approach to integrated marketing, encouraging students to develop the analytical skills, intuition, logic and creativity found in successful marketing professionals. ($390/credit hour)

Bachelor of Science in Finance. This degree prepares students for a variety of positions requiring training in finance. Students will also learn how to work the various professional groups who depend on finance professionals to achieve their goals. ($390/credit hour)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Course and laboratory work offer students the means to achieve recognized mastery of computer information technology concepts and their application to real-world problems. The Computer Science degree prepares students for the theory, abstraction and design of computer systems. ($390/credit hour)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking. The Computer Networking program is designed for those requiring specialized skills and knowledge in computer networking/telecommunications. Classes are designed to give the student a firm understanding of computer networks, planning, design and management. ($390/credit hour)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. This degree focuses solving problems and managing organizational resources. The student will be prepared for careers in systems analysis & design, software engineering, database management, project management and workflow analysis & design. ($390/credit hour)

Undergraduate Certificates
Earning a certificate can prepare the student to move into a new position, improve marketability, increase value to employers and lead to promotion or career change. Course credits may also apply towards a Bachelor’s degree. Three Undergraduate Certificates are available online:

  • Java Programming (12 semester hours - $390/credit hour)
  • UNIX (Solaris) (12 semester hours - $390/credit hour)
  • Computer Networking (12 semester hours - $390/credit hour)
  • Management Information Systems – MIS (12 semester hours - $390/credit hour)
  • Irish Studies (12 semester hours - $390/credit hour
  • Public Administration (18 semester hours - $390/credit hour)

Student Services:
Regis University offers online students access to a number of services. The Dayton Memorial Library provides access to the computerized library catalog of Regis University, dozens of libraries throughout the U.S. and hundreds of databases. A full-time Distance Learning Librarian is on staff. Career Services is available to provide counseling services, skill assessment and job search strategies. The Regis University Disability Services Department offers disabled students assistance in taking online courses. The Financial Aid Department provides assistance with student loans, while the Registrar’s Office assists veterans and active service members in using their GI Benefits.

Credit Options:
Regis University’s Undergraduate Degree Programs offer students several options for earning college credit by utilizing life and work experience.

  • Regis Challenge Exams
  • Prior Learning Assessment/Portfolio

Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at Regis, including 18 hours of upper division courses, to graduate with a degree from Regis University.

Faculty:
The faculty at Regis University’s School of Professional Studies is made up experienced practitioners with a minimum of a Master’s Degree. Students gain first-hand knowledge of current practices and trends using a unique mixture of theory and practice.

Applying:

  • Complete Application for Admission and submit with the $75 application fee to SPS Undergraduate Admissions, Regis University, Adult Learning Center L-12, 3333 Regis Boulevard, Denver, CO 80021-1099.
  • A writing sample is required within ten days of application.
  • Non-degree seeking students need only complete the application and submit it to SPS Undergraduate Admissions, together with the $75 application fee, at the above address.
